I. Scope of application
The terms and conditions contained in this document apply to the relationship between the potential guest, hereinafter referred to as Client, and VILLAFRAGA, from the moment of the reservation request until the end of the stay period.
In situations that are not provided for in the Terms and Conditions, applicable legislation is used.
II. Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made by telephone, e-mail and through our website. Reservations by telephone, e-mail and website are subject to availability.
After the reservation request, if the apartment is available, VILLAFRAGA provides a reservation transaction code.
VILLAFRAGA only guarantees the Customer the availability of accommodation of the type reserved.
III. Arrival and departure
VILLAFRAGA offers accommodation in the reserved category on the scheduled arrival date. subject to availability at the time.
At check-in, the guest must identify themselves and provide the owner with their identification document (identity card/passport).
On the date of departure, the Client will have to leave the accommodation free of people and goods and without any damage.
Check-in and check-out may occur outside the defined times as long as availability is checked with the VILLAFRAGA owner.
If the accommodation is not vacated on the day of departure, without any justification or prior consent from VILLAFRAGA, compensation corresponding to the price of one night will be immediately charged, with the Customer only having the right to use the accommodation during that period if it is available. Otherwise you will have to pay the compensation and leave the accommodation as soon as possible.
VILLAFRAGA does not have a 24-hour in-person reception service. We appreciate guests letting us know their arrival time.
Upon check-in, you will be given a keychain with the key to the building’s main door.
IV. Terms of Use
Only the people indicated in the accommodation reservation will be entitled to use it. Temporary visits to our guests are only permitted with prior consent from VILLAFRAGA management.
The Client and companion(s), if applicable, must use the accommodation under appropriate conditions, with care and consideration.
The Client and companion(s), if applicable, must treat other guests with consideration and respect the Regulations available in each accommodation.
VILLAFRAGA offers its guests an open space kitchen, living room, bathroom and a double bedroom.
Common spaces and equipment available to guests must be used in appropriate conditions and left clean and in good condition.
All damages, malfunctions and thefts associated with the Customer will be charged, taking into account the value of the damages in question.
Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult guest at all times during their stay at VILLAFRAGA.
VILLAFRAGA will not be responsible for personal property that may disappear within its facilities.
The Customer must always close the access doors to the accommodation, the bedroom door and ensure that they are properly closed.
In case of emergency, the Customer must call the contacts available on our website.
V. Parking
VILLAFRAGA has private parking.
SAW. Animals
It is expressly prohibited to accommodate animals at VILLAFRAGA.
The introduction, by the guest, of animals into the accommodation allows VILLAFRAGA to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave without being refunded the amounts paid in the meantime for making the accommodation available during the contracted period of stay.
VII. Noise
As a matter of respect and understanding towards all guests, special attention is requested to maintain silence in social areas, stairs and corridors.
Between 10 pm and 8 am, activities that cause noise that could disturb other guests are not permitted, in accordance with the General Noise Regulations.
VIII. Access to the apartment via VILLAFRAGA
The VILLAFRAGA team will have the right to enter the apartment, during the Customer’s stay, in order to carry out cleaning, repairs and similar work.
IX. Price of stay and other prices
The price of the stay payable by the Customer constitutes the consideration for the use of the accommodation apartment, in the period between arrival and departure.
The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether the Customer actually used the accommodation.
The applicable rates will be the agreed prices or the prices established in the VILLAFRAGA price list in force on the date of the reservation request. VILLAFRAGA will have the right to update prices, informing the Customer in a timely manner.
The fees and amounts indicated for the stay are all plus VAT at the legal rate in force, unless expressly stated otherwise.
VILLAFRAGA provides information and promotions on its website.
X. Payment terms
Payment of the cost of the stay and extra services (extra bed) must be paid at check-in.
If the length of the Customer’s stay is not specified, the price of the stay for each night must be paid by 12pm, check-out time.
VILLAFRAGA accepts payments in cash, ATM, paypal, VISA, MasterCard or by bank transfer. We accept debit and credit cards.
Checks are not accepted.
Specific payment conditions may apply to travel agencies, tour operators and other entities.
XI. Claims
There is a complaints book on the website.
Any complaints or suggestions must be forwarded to management.
If it is verified that there is indeed a defect in the Customer’s accommodation, VILLAFRAGA has the right to opt for repair and relocate the guest to another accommodation of the same category contracted with the guest. Only defects likely to jeopardize VILLAFRAGA’s level of service and quality will be considered.
XII. VILLAFRAGA’s responsibility
VILLAFRAGA will be responsible for ensuring adequate hygiene, cleanliness and safety conditions at the accommodation.
VILLAFRAGA will not be responsible for personal property that may disappear within its facilities.
VILLAFRAGA does not assume any responsibility for loss of data provided by the Customer in the case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there is culpable action.
VILLAFRAGA will not be liable to the Customer in case of delay in making the accommodation available if there is a force majeure reason. Force majeure will be considered to be those that make the provision of accommodation impossible or more difficult, such as, in particular, strikes, blockades, natural disasters, accidents in the accommodation itself.
XIII. Duty to notify
In the event of theft, property damage, fire, floods or other damage to the accommodation, the Customer must immediately inform the owner of VILLAFRAGA and do everything possible to help resolve the situation in question.
XIV. End of stay
VILLAFRAGA has the right to end the stay if the Customer does not pay the amount due, as well as if the Customer displays any behavior that affects good coexistence, peace or hygiene.
The Customer may request the end of their stay at any time up to 7:30 pm, to take effect from 12 pm on the following day.
XV. Data protection
The personal data of the Customer and their companion(s), if applicable, will be stored and processed by VILLAFRAGA and service providers, in accordance with the Law, for the services requested by the Customer and for its own advertising campaigns.
The Customer will have the right to object at any time to the use of personal data for advertising purposes, and must inform VILLAFRAGA.
Unless otherwise legislated, the Customer’s personal data must be deleted when the legal retention period ends.
XVI. General provisions
The Terms and Conditions regulate the Customer’s stay at VILLAFRAGA and their use of the apartment.
The nullity of one or more of the previous provisions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by the valid provision, as close as possible to the commercial and legal intentions of the parties or if this is not possible under current Portuguese legislation.
